And He showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. Revelation 22:1

God’s love is like a river that flows from heaven, it flows continuously day and night. God’s love is a pure river He gives it freely to all who will receive. In Revelations 22:1 we see that the river gives life. We cannot live without natural water. The same is true for spiritual water; we cannot live without the love of God.
“…everything shall live whither the river cometh.” Ezekiel 47:9
God poured out His love to the whole world when He sent Jesus down to earth. Since God’s love is like a river it flows into fills up the heart of each person who will open their heart and receive Jesus. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

Why do many people feel unloved?
They have only known conditional love. Conditional love is love that one receives only after all conditions have been met. Since the person has to work so hard to meet all the conditions, it makes them feel unloved. God’s love is like a river that flows continuously.
